SV	Daarom, broeders, benaarstigt u te meer, om uw roeping en verkiezing vast te maken; want dat doende zult gij nimmermeer struikelen.

ASV	Wherefore, brethren, give the more diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never stumble:
BE	For this reason, my brothers, take all the more care to make your selection and approval certain; for if you do these things you will never have a fall:

Darby	Wherefore the rather, brethren, use diligence to make your calling and election sure, for doing these things ye will never fall;

Sch	Darum, meine Brüder, befleißiget euch desto mehr, eure Berufung und Erwählung fest zu machen. Denn wo ihr solches tut, werdet ihr niemals straucheln;
Web	Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
Weym	For this reason, brethren, be all the more in earnest to make sure that God has called you and chosen you; for it is certain that so long as you practise these things, you will never stumble.
